Welcome to Wonda. Wonda is a local activity discovery platform that connects people with events, experiences, restaurants, bars, and activities happening near them across the UK.
Wonda operates two connected services:
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of both services. Please read them carefully before using Wonda.
By accessing or using Wonda — whether as a consumer or a host — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Wonda. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered hosts by email of material changes. Continued use of Wonda after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
As a host, you are responsible for the listings you create and publish on Wonda. By submitting a listing, you confirm and agree that:
Wonda does not verify the accuracy of host listings before they are published (beyond automated content moderation). You bear full responsibility for the content you submit.
The Wonda consumer app is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. As a consumer, you agree to:
Location data: The app will request access to your device's location to show nearby listings. This is optional — you can decline location access and the app will still function. Your location is used only to filter and sort results and is not stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No account required: You do not need an account to use the consumer app. Your favourites and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Wonda is designed to showcase genuine local activities, events, and experiences. We want the platform to be a safe and trustworthy place for everyone.

All listings are subject to automated AI content moderation at the point of submission. Wonda reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing that violates these guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
To keep Wonda a welcoming and neutral space for everyone, certain types of listings are not permitted on the platform regardless of whether they otherwise comply with these Terms.

Wonda offers promoted listing and flash sale features as part of its subscription plans. The availability of promoted listing and flash sale slots is subject to geographic zone capacity. Each zone has a maximum number of simultaneously active promoted listings and flash sales, determined by its classification (Rural, Urban, or City). Wonda cannot guarantee that a slot will be available at any given time, even where your subscription plan includes a promotion or flash sale allowance.
Where a slot is unavailable due to zone capacity, your unused allowance will not roll over to a subsequent period. Wonda recommends checking slot availability in advance and promoting listings or running flash sales during off-peak periods where possible.
Wonda reserves the right to adjust zone classifications and slot limits at any time. Any such changes will be communicated to hosts in advance where reasonably practicable.
Wonda's platform: The Wonda name, logo, design, software, and all content created by Wonda (including the app interface, navigation, and platform features) are the intellectual property of Wonda and are protected by UK copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Wonda platform without our express written consent.
Host content: You retain full ownership of the content you submit to Wonda — including listing titles, descriptions, images, and other materials ("host content"). By submitting content to Wonda, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Wonda platform and in promotional materials for Wonda, for as long as the listing remains active.
You confirm that you own or have the right to use all content you submit, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
When you delete a listing, we will remove it from the platform within 14 days. Copies may remain in our backup systems for a limited period thereafter.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Wonda's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
If you have a dispute with a host about a listing — including a cancelled event or a misleading offer — your recourse is with that host directly, or with the relevant consumer protection authority.
Host accounts are available on the following subscription plans:

Billing: Paid monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices include VAT where applicable.
Cancellation: Cancel any time from your host dashboard. Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access is retained until then and no further charge is made. No partial-month refunds.
Downgrades: When downgrading, existing listings remain live until they naturally expire. Lower plan limits apply to new listings immediately.
Failed payments: If payment fails, your account will be suspended and listings hidden from the app until payment is resolved. You will be notified by email.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price changes. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You may close your host account at any time by contacting us at hello@wondaful.app. On closure, your listings will be removed from the platform and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Wonda reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, remove any listing, or restrict your access to the platform — with or without prior notice — if we reasonably believe that you have:
Where we suspend or terminate an account for cause, no refund will be due for any unused portion of a paid subscription period.
If you believe your account has been terminated in error, please contact us at hello@wondaful.app within 14 days and we will review the decision.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
